It provides skilled 24 hour nursing care to people aged 65 years and over who suffer with severe and enduring mental health problems, challenging behaviours and additional complex needs. Fairfield House also provides effective care to residents detained under the Mental Health Act, in a homely, comfortable and clean environment.
The team are fully committed to promoting the emotional and physical well being of the residents, and in ensuring that individuality, dignity and the person’s rights are central to the care provided. The approach to care adopted by the home is the Human Givens / Human Needs Approach, which places meeting the service users’ individual and varied needs at the centre of all care activity.
Fairfield House aims to provide a welcoming and friendly environment that is also supportive of residents’ relatives and carers.
